Dell PE2950
In the Feb 7th release of the driver for Dell’s PERC/4eDC I noted the compatibility with PE1950 and PE2950 servers, servers that don’t exists. But they do, May release… http://www.spec.org/cpu/results/res2006q1/cpu2000-20060219-05624.asc. How sad am I for noticing and looking it up 😉

its was just Dell being crap…
It turns out that Apple have it sorted and that Dell just suck. http://www.java.com/en/download/installed.jsp shows I am am on 1.4.2_09 and that the Dell applet doesn’t like me cos I am not on Windows. Arse. Ah well… XP on a MacBookPro is what I NEED for work then 😉
