A thoroughly enjoyable evening

I wasn’t going to go for a beer after work today. I was going to leave at 4 and come home, remove the suit (clients…) and sort my flat a bit, since its in rather a state. Thankfully though my plans did not happen.

So, 5.30 and across the road with , Jon and Zak for a pint and a couple of games of pool. Shortly into our second game I spied 3 of the guys from work wandering past; a quick interception by Michael and they were at the table, pint in hand. Good good. Several games of pool later and joined further by two more colleagues we left the pub for food. Well, 4 of us did.

Wandered into town with our Finance Director, Head of Account Management and our visiting account manager from Atlanta and went to the Tia balcony (above MVC for you Bathonians). Bloomin’ nice food and great time was had… its strange to be out socially with people on the Executive but really they are just nice peeps who can drink me under the table 😉 A pint in the Salamander and a half before closing in Ha!Ha! rounded off a thoroughly enjoyable evening.

This kind of thing need to occur more often!
