So yes, I am in Sri Lanka. The 10.5hr flight direct from Heathrow was surprisingly okay. I had an empty seat next to me so I had a little room – got some kip and was having the most confusing dream (I blame last weekends SG1) until a flight attendant poke me to wake me up for breakfast/lunch… the time difference messes with meal man!
Swanky hotel to stay in which is nice. Work’s office is on the other side of town, which means a fun ride to and from work. The driver is nice though and keeps talking about the cricket. The food here is just excellent (and I have not tried the Hotel yet) if I do say. I like it, plus its warm 🙂
Off for a weekend exploring tomorrow and Sunday. Off inland to Kandy. Elephant orphanage, botanical gardens and tea places. Sounds excellent to me 🙂
