My alarm clock has not gone off yet and I have already tidied and cleaned my kitchen. Damn this whole daylight savings thing!
Mornings are usually a rushed affair and thus I slack and drink instant coffee (oh, shoot me, see if I care 😉 ). Usually I drink Douwe Egberts Continental Dark, but in Waitrose the other day I noticed a new Douwe Egberts call ‘Intensity’. Bah, pretty packaging so I thought I’d try it. So, is it any good I hear you ask. Well… its okay. Its slightly more bitter than the Continental Dark and at 50p a jar more I’m not sure I’d change my regular morning cup. Its worth having a jar about for “a change” every now and then though. I note there is also one called ‘Serenity’ but I think I’ll leave that for someone else to try.
